Oka Bath Towel
Sustainable + Durable + Livable
We love the dense waffle weave of the Oka towel, and we've chosen an oversized format for extra comfort. Cut from a heavy, breathable and highly absorbent cloth, these towels are our most plush texture. They're soft against the skin, and stays dry and fresh far longer than cotton. The material has excellent absorbancy and durability, and the charcoal tone is an easy addition to any room.
We discovered the Oka in the Baltic region of Europe, and knew we had to bring it to you. The flax is woven in a historic European mill using a traditional craftsmanship. Linen is a best material for all types of everyday goods; It is easy on the earth, anti-bacterial, odor-resistant and ages beautifully, gaining in both strength and character with each use. Also available as a washcloth.

About the Designer:
August Linen, located in Vancouver and created by husband and wife Tara and Ian Spencer, was born out of a love of simple, functional, well-designed objects, and a passion for artisan quality goods. Their focus is on simple construction, thoughtful design, responsible sourcing and exquisite textures. They believe in the beauty of bringing this into our day-to-day routines.
The brand is rooted in a dislike for waste, and a belief in mindful consumption; only creating items that can stand the test of time, so you can buy fewer of them. They believe in choosing the right sorts of excess: excessive quality, durability, practicality and craftsmanship.
