Wide Stripe Hand Towel
Sustainable + Durable + Livable
The Wide Stripe Towel is the resident "cool kid" of the August Linen lineup. It was one of the first designs to make the cut and we absolutely fell in love with its ivory and rosy taupe tones. The pattern can adapt to any environment, and we find it looks great in light and airy work spaces. The Wide Stripe is made from thick material and its quality craftsmanship will put up with many years of use.
Linen in this piece is durable, absorbent and anti-bacterial. It is made with careful consideration of its environment from flax that is cultivated and harvested in Europe. As time passes, this item will improve, gaining in character, strength and softness. It is a beautiful reminder of a well lived life.

About the Designer:
August Linen, located in Vancouver and created by husband and wife Tara and Ian Spencer, was born out of a love of simple, functional, well-designed objects, and a passion for artisan quality goods. Their focus is on simple construction, thoughtful design, responsible sourcing and exquisite textures. They believe in the beauty of bringing this into our day-to-day routines.
The brand is rooted in a dislike for waste, and a belief in mindful consumption; only creating items that can stand the test of time, so you can buy fewer of them. They believe in choosing the right sorts of excess: excessive quality, durability, practicality and craftsmanship.
